We are offering the exciting opportunity of Finance Apprentice.
You will support the Finance and Exchequer staff in providing a finance service to officers of the Council, providing administrative support to the team, keeping routine financial records up to date and entering data into financial systems including general ledger, debtors and creditors. You will undertake the Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship (AAT Level 3), alongside full on-the-job training and mentoring from finance colleagues.
What we need from you… You will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, good IT skills, along with good verbal communication and listening skills. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative to think through problems and find solutions within agreed guidelines.
